Brett Goldstein – Chief Trading Officer

Brett comes to the Pacific Carbon Exchange most recently from Citigroup. Brett is responsible for trading activities, exchange strategy, and member recruitment at PCarbX. Goldstein joined Citigroup in June 2003 to build a West Coast franchise to service hedge funds. The business generated $70 million in annual profitability. Brett spent part of his tenure at Citi living in Hong Kong where he worked closely with local regulators and stock exchanges as they were looking to expand their relationships with institutional U.S. clients. Prior to Citi, Goldstein was at Credit Suisse where he managed a team which implemented global trading and settlement systems firm-wide across Equities, Fixed Income, Futures & Options products, also integrating that platform with other investment banks, exchanges and clearing members. Goldstein began his career at Long Term Credit Bank of Japan working on their Proprietary Trading desk.
